The workshop starts with an interactive presentation and discussion about the project and the scientific aspects of the symbiotic machine. Then the participants themselves get to work with the materials used in the machine including the algae, other photosynthetic organisms and the parts that make up the photosynthetic battery to understand how the machine works. The workshop is given by Ivan Henriques in collaboration with scientists from the VU University Amsterdam.
