Zone2Source was featured in the Top 10 Most Pioneering Art/ Sustainability Initiatives in the Netherlands, penned by Yasmine Ostendorf on Artists & Climate Change on February 22, 2018.
Moving along with the Netherlands’ transition to the awareness and appreciation of sustainability, Zone2Source revolves around art and technology in the encounter with nature. We present projects that either portray the environment’s suffering, offer a transformative interpretation of nature, or propose an approach to a more sustainable society.
Zone2Source’s projects also aim to closely engage the community with nature, as curator Alice Smits posits that one of human essential acts is to understand our part in “the complex entanglement” with the ecological system so more care would be devoted to the technology and system design.
