Exploded View
Exploded View is a multi-year artistic research program in the Amstelpark (2018 – 2020) that examines landscapes to look at current activations from their heritage history. The Amstelpark is exchanging information with Parco Regionale dell’Appia Antica in Rome. Exploded View consists of research in 2018-2019, small-scale presentations of the first results in 2019 and a larger public program in 2020.
Here you will find more information about the program, an overview of the activities and a link to a heritage resource page about the Amstelpark and it’s history as park that was designed for the international horticulture exhibition Floriade in 1972.
Exploded View is a group exhibition (27 July – 20 Sept, 2021) in and about the Amstelpark which shows the results of a research 12 artists have conducted over the last year into the Amstelpark. This exhibition is a collaboration with Krien Clevis and Clue+/heritage studies of the Vrije Universiteit.
