In the Amstelpark we find meandering paths, train tracks, and back roads. There we will walk to see how animals also make there own paths, holes and corridors under the ground, while roots of plants  make complicated branching networks. On large sheets of paper we will draw the roots and animals enlarged as if they are new paths of the park. In this way we will create maps which we can use to walk a root or the way that a centipede walks.
These workshops are organized as part of an ongoing project by Marjolijn Boterenbrood, Sporen, in which she maps out the world underneath the soil through explorations, excursions, expert meetings and workshops.
