Working period in the Orangerie
The closing exhibition HEATPULP can be visited from Sunday June 6th until Wednesday June 9th.
From the 21st of May until the 10th of June, 2021 the Fine Arts Department at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie will be working in the Orangerie.
At the presentation work is on show from Hippolyte Godest, Siyana Shishkova, Ati Romeu, Huub Kooijman, Pien Overing, Julie Scemama, Iiris Riihimäki, Jessica Tille, Nikki Vroom, Bert McLean, Lizzy Ebeling Koning, Matilda Lövgren, Etienne Le Coquil.
“We are a class of 16 people that would want to come and work at the Orangerie and use that space as our atelier. What this might entail more detailed is that we come and slowly start to engage with the space, the surroundings of the Orangerie and the topics that might arise in relation to this, maybe through photographie, drawings, sculpting, painting etc. With the place in mind when making work we will bring different materials and start our projects.”
