Performance Mission to the Moon
The performance Mission to the Moon will take place on the Moon Gallery Garden startday 6 June, 2020 between 15:00 – 18:00.
The team of Mission to the Moon consisting of 2 astronauts and 2 astronaut-assistents is dedicated to the re-enactment of the Apollo 11 mission and other highpoints of the Apollo program. The DIY program of Mission to the Moon consists of 2 Apollo Block 1 A1C space suits, an Apollo moonlander and Lunar Rover. After years of training the team now prepares for a new mission in het Glazen Huis during the opening of Moon Gallery Garden.

Space suit Apollo Block I A1C, by Cocky Eek and Johannes Sterk will be exhibited during Moon Garden Gallery as part of the national initiative Unlocked/Reconnected in which the cultural sector celebrates the start of cultural live.
