From December 12th to January 31st 2020, the Bioart Society in Helsinki is holding the exhibition “Time and River are alike” on the Ars Bioarctica residency at the Kilpisjärvi Biological station located in the Finnish subarctic/Sápmi.
Our director and curator, Alice Smits, was part of the Second Order working group of Field_Notes, a field laboratory organized at the station every two years. She contributed to the exhibition with the video Tracing the Land, in which she captured footages of her group’s work and the intense field work she accomplished.
