In the context of the exhibition Ecognosis, Zone2Source organizes two stop-motion animation workshops for children! Therefore, we welcome children from 8 – 14 years old on Sunday 27 February to participate in a special stop-motion animation workshop led by the artist duo BetweenTwoHands!

One workshop will be held on Sunday from 11.00 – 13.00 and the other from 13.30 – 15.30 hrs at the Rietveld Huis in Amstelpark. During the workshop, the children will collect natural materials in the Amstelpark such as stones, branches and leaves. When the materials have been collected, the children can let their imagination run free and make up a story with them. To shape the story they will draw a small storyboard and then they can animate the materials alone or with a buddy under supervision. Afterwards, the films will be sent by email. The children do not need any prior knowledge of equipment or software for this workshop, just a creative brain!

The workshops are free, but registration is required! Please let us know which time slot you want to join (11.00 or 13.30) and with how many people before 24 February via projects@zone2source.net.
